You can always cut the pan and modify it and the oil pick up tube. I've done that several times. Or you can place the engine up higher in the frame but that might require floor board reworking.

That’s no problem, a inch or so below is fine, I can modify the pan or raise the mounts easily. I just wasn’t sure if it was a 6 inch drop below the cross member. I’m wanting to lay frame with a Cummins. So your news is good news.
