I'm not saying your's will rust, just what I had happen after it was blocked out and ready for wet sanding

Thanks for the heads up. I have actually cut the outside area behind the inside vent so I can take care of the rust from the inside out. I will post pics of that repair since it is on the list to take care of soon.
