I deal with newer cars all day at my shop and they call them proportioning valves. And CPP calls them proportioning valves also.

And my technicians call them that. I just want to know if we are talking about the same thing is all? It might just be old school terms your "combination" valve. Never heard em called that. That is if we are talking about the same valve. lol.
