I have gotten into the 14 mpg range with my Chevy (350/350, 4.11s, & corrected speedo); but that was on a long trip, all highway driving; driving with the tach never breaking the 3K mark, & never opening the secondaries.
I was driving for "economy" (if you can do such a thing in 1 of these trucks).
