Don, I've shaved the marker holes and almost finished the body work on them, I'm keeping the hood letters though!
In the last week I have installed the one piece window kit from Brothers, reassembled the truck for paint, welded my mirror holes(truck was made with only a drivers side mirror!), finished my hidden CD player mod, basically everything I needed to do to get it ready for paint. My painter friend should be down here next weekend helping me paint it. We'll see how that works out.
My engine is supposed to be finished in two weeks, I called him yesterday and he was actually in the process of removing the head bolt bosses in the intake ports! If you know about inlines then you know how big of a difference that will make alone, especially after I add the turbo later on!
When I started this build I bought a 80cu.ft. welding bottle and I have gas left over so I made a garage robot!
