LocDoc, yeah I have already been studying Yukon's thread....it is a real good one. The truck is auto trans. I am trying to get the pedal assembly out so I can try to use the brake pedal off the '86 model. It is a bigger pedal. Do you know how to remove the pedal off the pedal assembly?
