Just took one of my lug nuts off and put it on top of the center cap for you to view.

As you can see, the holes are indeed larger than the studs, but when tightened down, the beveled nuts center the wheel and themselves in the holes.

Sorry for the blurry picture, but I shake like crazy after coffee, and the brown stuff on the stud and beveled hole is not rust but anti-seize compound.

At any rate, I do believe you have the correct lug nuts for that type wheel.
