Those springs were crazy hard to stretch! My EFI unit has a spring built into the arm which is pretty good by itself. Using just one of the TrickFlow springs with the built in spring was still too much force required to pull the throttle blades open.

So... I tossed the Trick springs and went with what you see in the pics which is a very light spring as backup to the one built into the EFI unit.
