I've got a 1969 c10 with a 6.2 LS and 4L80E that I daily drive every day about 60 miles. My drive is 90% freeway and I cruise at 70-80mph all day long. They are totally daily driveable and with a modern drivetrain there super reliable and get better fuel mileage. I'm still running the factory behind the seat tank and I don't recommend it. Get an under the bed tank, will save you fuel and fumes. Overall absolutely love daily driving my truck and get a lot of attention on the highway.
