The grill and hood make it appear to be a 69-70 model. That would match the gas pedal setup it currently has. No emergency brake pedal or arm (67-68 style) to help decode the cab. Rear view mirror is what year? And no side markers on the front or rear fenders.
Maybe 71 was a typo.
