this is longbike's stock 57 frame with the un-cut bellhousing x-member that supports the body mounts
aftermarket frame manufacturers support the body different ways
this is my x-member, some of my fabrication is a little industrial but i had this tubing on hand
as for using spray bombs? never had much use for them
usually the paint looks ok until first time it gets dirty/oily/wet
you would probably be money ahead to brush on rustoleum
spray bomb paint goes on so thin that it takes many cans to get any paint thickness
i brushed on por15 on my frame, 25,000 miles on it and it still looks good
