I'm on the fence if I'm going to mount the compact to the end of the case. I have to pull wire for the remote plug anyhow, it can't stay underneath; That would be ridiculous to try to reach under there to hook up the remote. So I'm thinking under hood for the solenoid, and I'm the sure about the remote plug.
Where did you mount your remote plug?
