special-k is right, forgot about this thread until now, but no thread is ever too old, glad to see these prolonged conversations. Unfortunately the truck has been zapped and with gremlin fever in the electrical somewhere. I’m in the process of turning it to a camper rig, wanting to put an old barth, avion, argosy, etc. camper on the back and take it around oregon using the old highway routes.. maybe if anyone happens to see this and has the style camper i’m looking for? reach out!
as far as the story goes I think it went something like this, it worked up in washington state, then one of the retired workers bought the truck at auction, and later sold it to his buddy who i ended up being neighbors with and bugging him every time i saw him until he sold it to me.
