I have a one piece drive shaft in it now, and may still do a high hump. I'm just not sure how much I will drop it. It has a 4.5/6 drop on it now. I may just notch it and stay around this same drop or a 1" block.. etc.

The valve covers are pretty close to the firewall yes. We had to clearance just a little due to moving the mounts back about an inch. The PO custom fabbed the BB mounts on to the 73-87 style front k-member.
.. should help keep it from plowing in the corners.

It might get aluminum heads at some point too.. . Still an option. Fuel injection, etc. Well see how it pans out.
