If you haven’t yet you will need to pull the windshield and probably do the same, then you can go to Eastwood and buy some encapsulation spray with a long hose, reach it up inside and try and coat the insides between the panels. Same with above the windshield, be forwarned the stuff is a liquid so it will find pin holes or gaps in panels So try and tape them up and cover and remove anything you don’t want damaged, but its the only way to treat the metal on the inside . I covered my dash and column with rags but still had to chase the runs a bit.
