Yeah the c-notch is more necessary on the 2wd blazers than the pickups. It wasn't too bad when I was by myself,... but get 4 people in it and it would hit the rearend quite often.
It has a little more rake with the 5.5/6 drop (plus the tire sizes had a little rake also),... I was just trying to get the "tire-to-fenderwell gap" more even.
