Take a look in my build thread at my 67 seat reupholster project. Some good pictures of the seat frame that could help ID what you have.

Not sure if you were asking for this, but you can carefully remove the lower cover and replace the thicker foam with the correct thickness and recover with new hog rings.
The photos from your build thread are very helpful. I'm thinking I'm heading down the path of tearing the seat apart to see what's going on inside. I haven't done any upholstery work on 67-72 trucks, but I did replace the upholstery on a 350Z I had, so I'm familiar with hog rings.

Nice Ripmo, by the way. I've got a SC Bronson and I'm a total MTB addict. Bikes come first on my list of obsessions, followed by trucks.
