You might have to jack the truck by the fame and let the diff hang now that I think about it. The jack stands could interfere with the vibration.

Here is a graphic of the drivetrain vibration I mentioned above. In this case the vibration peaked every 1.6 seconds, 2 times the "beat frequency".
