I have two JBL's 10inch behind my seats in my 67. I built boxes for them with vents. My amps are under the drivers seat. Head unit is Pioneer for all my mp3's. Yes I cut my dash and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Oh, I have 6x9's in the doors and tweeters under the dash pointed at the seats.
