If you like the CB radio, some where in the internet will be an explanation of how to trim the antenna for maximum range ~ it's not difficult, you'll need a meter that is prolly languishing on E-Bay for under $10 right now .

Those 23 channel ones have *slightly* more output power than do the newer ones .

I still have my 1969 Pace CB in the garage, much fun having a CB Radio in the truck back then when I lived in rural New Hampshire .
