I ended up driving 6 hours or so from Midland to pick up the bed from the landlord of the building and dropped the bed off with another more reputible body shop. So far, my luck with body shops isn’t much better today then it has been. I don’t believe the second body shop has even started. All of this is why I dropped the bed off only, and have been reluctant to hand over my entire truck.

Damn dude, sorry to hear this... Sadly, this is why I try and learn to do everything myself. I am scared to death to have to deal with stuff like that. I hope it all works out. Looking forward to more updates.
