Re: 1967 Custom Sport Truck

Cleaned back up & painted and clearance... the wheels were at their worst when at a full lock turn, so 1/16"+ of clearance should be sufficient.

My tires are from 2006 but 15" tires are pretty cheap, so I think I will be getting new tires. I'm also looking at a set of 7" rally wheels for the front to match the back (replacing the 8" rallys in the front), the combination of drop and disc spindles pushes the track width out 3/4" on each side on 67-70 trucks, so I think I'd like to tuck the front wheels back in. The 7" rally wheels have the same BS as the 8's so I'd be tucking the fronts in an inch.

In all likelihood, it will be 2+ years now before the 5 lug swap now that the front suspension is rebuilt and the rear is still good, so the tires need to be replaced out of safety, I've pushed them too long. 9+ years in the Carolina sun 24/7 isn't good for rubber.

The last pic is an optical illusion, the wheel is at full lock and there is at least 1/2"+ of clearance from the tire.
