Heater wiring, 71 Cheyenne with A/C

Need an idea on what to use to replace my blower resistor. I have ripped out all of my wiring and just have the blower wired to high on the switch. This is causing my voltage to drop really bad and I want to add the resistor back in to alleviate the drop and add the other 2 speeds back in.

I'm not sure of the resistance the old style resistors had and was wondering if anyone knew so I can make up a harness to install some in to get me back on top. Thanks for any help, Jeff.
