Yeah, I'm really lacking in the tools department. Maybe in the near future I'll have a house with a shop with lots of room for tools. And I'm sure it'll be hard to find a factory painted grille that hasn't been abused by the elements.

Never done one of those, but I think you cut out the entire plastic portion that holds the chrome trim ring.
