The mechanic told him $10,000, to which the man's jaw DROPPED.
The man told the mechanic that he had $500 and wondered if it was enough to buy the truck. Of course it was NOT. What an insult!! This moron thought he could buy my straight, minimal rust, beauty heirloom truck for chump change!! I told the mechanic that the $500 price would not even cover the wheels (minus tires).
BTW my mechanic was not trying to sell the truck, he was putting a loser in his place with a well-deserved prank.

Yeah, I'll sell you the carburetor for $500. Actually, I wouldn't, because I know what it's going to cost me to get one that works like mine does already.
