Never built one and probably never will but this is most likely the one you saw.
I saw it in Roslyn in 2007 and it showed up in photos in Cruzin magazine at least once. Appears to run a 500 Cad and probably has the whole Eldorado drive train.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
