You keep the factory GM bearing retainer, just remove the internal hydraulic slave cylinder from the front. Once it's out of the way, you'll see two smaller threaded bolt holes in the face of the bearing retainer. Advance Adapter's throwout bearing adapter fits over the front of the bearing retainer and uses these two bolts to attach. Page 2 also has a schematic drawing of the throwout bearing adapter itself. Apparently you also have to order the special Centerforce throwout bearing they recommend for this as well. Not sure why, but I went ahead and ordered it as I didn't have time to fool around with other stuff.
