Randy Thanks for the input on this. I didn't realize the bracket would not work with the vortec heads. Also was considering this kit.

Going all vortec will have to change a lot of other stuff that I am not excited about doing. I have a nice 4 bolt block so would kind of like to keep it. It actually runs pretty well just want more out of it. Planning on doing some traveling in it in a few years when I retire. Also have a camper I will be towing at rare times.
