OK that sounds possible.
Had a 327 in a light weight 69 Nova once, and that built R.P.M.'s quick, but with a loss in bottom end torque I suspected.
ETA: The crankshaft was a small journal forged unit that I gave to a machinist friend, who had it magnafluxed and said that there was a crack in it so bad, that had the engine been built into a high revving motor, the shaft would have grenaded!
