. Ironing out the differences for you was my only intent. I love the no marker light look, definitely cleaner looking and ties back with all the other older cooler vehicles with less Federal influence. But these side markers are also very nice looking and add something nice to the look. I like both! The side marker "lights" add a cool touch to the night prowlin' look. I like the 71/72 lights in the bumper for the same reason. At night cruising the 71/72s look the coolest.
Because my '67 is a mild custom, I'm considering the '68 grille that CG gave me. No markings on the front at all. I have a louvered hood with no emblem on the nose, like a '67 GMC, then use the '68 grille. It's a big window and a Wideside. I have a trick idea for the tailgate, my secret.
