Well not much has happened ON the GMC. I've been trying to get some more work done on the shop to make it function better. Needed to get some shelving built, and finish wiring. Well...I got about half the 110v outlets wired and I did get some shelving built. Getting closer, still need to finish the wiring and do one more "clean out" from the construction/building process.

I did go over to my FIL's and check out the Explorer rear end. According to the door it is a code D4, so that makes it a 3.73 geared tracloc unit. Not ideal for my tire sizes I'm considering, but the price is right, and I can put in 3.08 or 3.27 gears on the cheap.
