A note about the date on the bottom of Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. The date stamped on the base is not a production date. It is a copyright date for that casting. In most cases, the copyright date is one year before the casting's first release, but sometimes the copyright and original release year match up. |
Thanks for the link. That's a real interesting site. I know nothing about collecting or how to identify what I have. But it seems like I'm going Hot Wheels crazy everytime I go to the store. I've seen some of those on the treasure hunt page and now I want them.
