BS it's a civil matter! That wasn't your friend, someone you knew. It is theft and there are laws against it that the police are hired to enforce, not sit at a desk and turn matters away. In fact, it's interstate theft which is worse. Maybe we wouldn't want to kick people's asses if it meant a bunch of paperwork
