I am assembling mine with the CPP 2.5 spindles and the CPP 1" drop springs for a nice drop of 3 to 3.5". Check the CPP site they have a 1" spring as well.
Also give CPP a chance to help you, I have had great service from them.

just got a set of cpp 1 inch springs today , ill let ya know how they pan out , what about puting the stock springs back in ? seeing as you have drop spindles
