I restore Benchseats for the 73-87 trucks. I have only done one set of Buckets seats, 1970 GTO. One thing I can tell you, Bucket seats are not that easy, hard on the hands. When I did the buckets for the first time, I watched a lot of videos on YouTube, that helped a lot.
The wire in the cover, that make the tucks. Those are called listing wires. It’s best to get those where they are wrapped. It helps protect the cover from wear. Do a search on Google for Upholstery Supplies. There are several good online places to get all your supplies, that would even include the frame springs.
And I second that on the hog hing pliers, get a good set. The cheap ones that they send with your upholstery kit aren’t worth the trouble.
