Grounding the tach is a great way to kill the ignition without disconnecting something that might be obvious to someone with a little knowledge. I've been thinking about a fuel shutoff solenoid so it would run out of fuel a short distance from where they grabbed it hopefully in the middle of a busy intersection most would just run at that point. Right now mine is in paint jail but soon out, it's a manual and if I am letting it out of sight I unscrew the shifter and take it with me. Made locks for my tow hooks too.
