Re: Trying to Find a Cam (350)

Iron angel, shot you a nice grind on the camshaft......but, let us talk about exhaust pipe sizing? I worked in a muffler shop, under one of the best...the old man had 45 yrs in the bizz. I did custom work, & agree with the old man? I would suggest 2 1/4" pipes on your app....or go 2 1/2to the mufflers, then drop the tails to 2 1/4" run an H or X pipe, for the balance, & have fun! I have never run 3" pipes....not even on a "hot"455 Olds in my truck. A good 2 1/2 " dual system, will hang with 450hp & work well. You damn sure don't need.....I would not want a 3" system on a 300 hp motor? Take it for what it is worth....not meant to be an azz -whoo. Just make the parts work together Longhorn
