Remove the two screws from the vacuum switch and remove it.

Remove the two screws from the fan speed switch and remove it as well. Don't lose the screws like I did

*as a side note, I had a spare parts controller to "copy from" because I did forget how stuff went back together, hopefully this will help others. Too bad I didn't have enough good arms between them, I still had to order the "repair" kit.
