Here are some pics of the John Deere 440 industrial 2 cylinder crawler and wheel tractor the were offered with your choice of 3 different engines either the extremely rare all fuel model, gasoline model, or the 2-53 GM Diesel engine. various equipment options could be had such as dozer blades, loaders, pipe laying cranes ,cable layers they also could be had with a direction reverser and pilot touch control was available on the crawler models it eliminated the dual control levers for a single control lever but it did not do very well and constantly needed adjusted and was recalled and the dual control levers were installed
