Keep it simple, rebuild the TH350. I have a '72 'burb with a 3.73 700r4 and a '72 cheynne with a 3.07 TH350. I almost prefer the 3.07's and TH350.

The burb originaly had a 3 spd. manual and 3.07's. If I were to do it over I would have just swapped in a TH350.
