Thanks Cornerstone. As everyone else already knows, you do your best making decisions for these builds in the moment and take a leap of faith that they will turn out for the best. When they don't work, you can always back up and do over.
I installed my new steering components this weekend (tie rod/ends, drag link) and started the process of replacing my leaf springs. My lift will be dropping from 6 inches to 4, another leap of faith thing that I think will turn out better in the end.
Also had a potential body and paint guy come look at the rig, which should be starting in the next few weeks.
Next I finish the leaf spring conversion, and start putting the LS back together again and get the mounts mocked up.
