No worries! Arizona has at least 3 varieties of wild Juniper, Alligator has a bark that is like a checkerboard, not as messy as .... Shaggybark is a generic term for the bark that is a huge mess, so we have two species, the one I cut is Utah Juniper. I only know that because this summer I visited Navajo National Monument, and a sign by the tree described it. There is also a Juniper that is planted for landscaping, it's wood is more like Pine. In fact, I lined the driveway with the big branches, since they were live and need to cure, looked like a good spot.
I hauled another half ton of gravel.
