Just like the pick up's. They have C and K. C - 2 wd and K - 4x4.
ALL Blazers and Jimmys from 69-91 are K5's. Some just happen to be 2wd. That is not even correct. No K5's were built after 87 at ALL. They were V5's 88-91 but GM changed the designation to keep the the C and K with the round body trucks that started in 88.

GM did not use the designation of C with the Blazer.

Go into a junkyard and ask for 69-70 K5 rear axle and you will get 6 lug no matter if it was 2wd or 4wd. Couse it still won't be a bolt in because a 2wd K5 69-72 had coil rear springs and 4wd was leaf.
