No, no, no. The "Scar" is not on the frame cut. People are referring to the cut/weld lines on the shortened long bed sides as these "Scars". It's not what I'd deem cool, but who am I? 
I have no problem with a cut down long bed. I am actually trying to piece together a 2wd swb C20 and I plan to do this with a long bed too. Because new SWB bed sides are a grand. Haha
