Re: 1964 GMC 1500 "crustine" semi- build.

Hey guys!!! Well today I felt like getting out and getting some work done of the trucks. And Crustine ended up taking All of my time today. haha Go figure! SO this morning I re-wired the fuel pump from the head lights to the starter(FAIL) and re-wired the headlights so I have High And Low beam instead of just High beam. (See pics!) And I decided to get rid of the old cam driven fuel pump that was still on the engine by making a fuel pump block off plate (See pics!) which required me to head to the shop....get out of my driveway and Sputter pow pop sputter poof....she's dead.....pull over to the side....Oh great...my pump isn't working. SO....cut the wire and throw a direct 12 on it and it pumps to life again.....head back home and grab another pump I had laying around and off to the shop I go. Installed the new fuel pump under the tank so its not Sucking but Pumping and made me a redneck fuel pump block off plate. lol Yes I'll be putting shorter bolts in. But fer now it sounds Alot better in the bay. See ya!
