I replied to your PM and sent you an email.

Typically a booster pushrod connection hole is drilled 1" lower than the original hole to achieve a better pedal feel and lessen the sensitivity. The original '67-'72 power brakes had the bellcrank assembly which accomplished that.

I have a 1972 that came with power brakes but using a after market 8" booster
