On a solid white or off white truck the rim was black whether it was a custom or not. Also should mention here that white custom trim trucks only had white between the custom side door and bed trim , you see lots of black and red painted inserts on them but this is NOT factory.

Do you think this could have been a dealer add on, kinda like the rear bumpers. Reason I ask is I had a older local gentleman tell me he "Thought" that dealerships would paint the red/black strip between the trim to break up the white.
I know its hard to what if things because you could literally what if everything
