a bit off topic but related to you half-moon connector.... hope you don't mind MAC71Cheyenne.

So I bought a shorten Tilt column from a forum member (banned Randy500). I am fairly sure the ribbon is causing some kind of a short up in the column.

The cable in this column has a flat/wide connector, then it goes into an adapter for the half moon dash's connector. Is there some thing with these cables where it could be a flat/wide cable or a half-moon? Perhaps the flat one is just easier to pull through the column?

Thought I ask here, since you just did this replacement and that I'll likely should do this too. Pulling the pins are easy enough and I do like your little tool you made - very clever indeed!
