Yes that will work if you don't plan on hauling heavy loads. That is a semi-floating 9.5" 14 bolt. You will need to weld on the trailing arm mounts and a panhard bar mount. I make both of those. With that said, I agree that to achieve what you are wanting an OD trans is needed. In my experience the Eaton HO52 is often times a noisy differential.
