Vic you are right.. I felt the same way for a long time about how it doesnt look right above the windsheild. However i saw a pic of a blue truck I liked that had shaved drip rails but on closer inspection it looks like they photoshoped the area above the windsheild to darken it.

I think I am going to leave the drip rail unless I mess up attaching the outer roof panel. (-;
